Privacy Policy

What information you share with us, how the website’s enquiry tools work, and how to contact us about your information.

Last updated:

1. Information you choose to share

The consultation and contact forms ask for your name, phone number, company, service of interest and address or city. You may also add a project requirement or message.

Learning-programme forms also ask for an email address and relevant learning preferences. Internship enquiries may include your qualification, college or organisation, experience, availability and an optional CV or portfolio link. Share only information relevant to your enquiry; do not include passwords, payment-card details or unrelated sensitive records.

The Careers form asks for contact details, location, the service area or vacancy applied for, experience, full-time engagement, availability, skills and a Word resume. Vacancy applications also ask role-specific questions about relevant tools, platforms, formats or experience. Optional fields include work links, showreels, qualification, current role and expected compensation. Do not include identity documents or unrelated sensitive information in your resume.

2. WhatsApp and direct enquiry submission

When you select WhatsApp, the website prepares a message in your browser and opens WhatsApp with the information you entered. Those details are included in the link used to open WhatsApp and are passed to that external service when you continue. You can review the message before tapping Send. Digital Country receives the WhatsApp message when you send it.

When you select Submit on a consultation, contact, service, internship or course enquiry form, the website sends your details to Digital Country’s enquiry endpoint. The information, selected service or learning topic, page, submission time and reference are saved in the website database. A notification is prepared for info@digitalcountry.in and sent through Resend when the private email sender service is configured. If email delivery is unavailable, the saved enquiry and pending notification remain available for follow-up and retry.

The submission service uses validation, a hidden spam field and a temporary rate-limit record derived from a hashed network address to help limit automated abuse. It does not store enquiry fields in browser local storage. Selecting WhatsApp alone does not create a separate website database enquiry.

Careers applications

The Careers form checks your chosen role, contact details, experience, availability, skills, optional professional links and Word resume in your browser. Applications are for full-time roles. In email-draft mode, it prepares an email link and an optional text download including whether you are sending a general application or applying for a specific vacancy, and any answers specific to that role. The selected resume stays in your browser; you must attach it in your email app and send the message yourself. Creating the draft does not submit an application.

If direct online delivery is enabled, the form states this before submission. Your details and selected Word resume are then sent to the website’s application endpoint and its email provider, Resend, for delivery to the Digital Country team. The application endpoint does not save a separate resume file or applicant database. The email service and recipient mailbox process and retain the email under their own settings and policies.

We use career applications to assess relevant opportunities and contact applicants about possible next steps. Submitting a profile does not guarantee an interview or employment. Contact info@digitalcountry.in with questions about your application information.

3. Why we use information

We use information you send us to respond to your enquiry, discuss requirements, prepare a proposal, assess a learning-programme enquiry and communicate about agreed services.

If you become a client or enrol in a programme, relevant correspondence and records may also be needed to deliver the engagement, manage payments and invoices, resolve a concern or meet applicable legal obligations. We should request any additional information only for a stated purpose.

4. Hosting and external services

The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as an IP address, browser details and access or security logs, to deliver and protect the website. Access or sign-in cookies may be used by the hosting platform where required.

WhatsApp, email providers and other services you choose to use process information under their own terms. Google Maps on the contact page and YouTube images or a video player, where displayed, may receive technical information when that content loads. External social links also take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Relevant information may be shared with providers needed for an agreed engagement, or where a lawful requirement applies. Their processing and retention are not controlled solely by this website.

5. Cookies and browsing choices

The current website’s own scripts do not set advertising cookies, include an analytics tracker or store enquiry fields in browser local storage. Hosting services and external content can have separate cookie or storage behaviour.

You can manage cookies in your browser and choose whether to open external links or load optional video content. Blocking external services may affect maps, video playback, sign-in or the WhatsApp handoff.

6. Retention and safeguards

Enquiries submitted through the website remain in the website database and any resulting business records. Information sent through WhatsApp or email can remain in the relevant conversation and mailbox. Retention depends on the purpose of the enquiry or engagement and any accounting, legal or dispute-resolution requirements.

You can ask us about retention or request deletion of information we control. Some records may need to be retained for a lawful reason, which should be explained. No website or communication service can guarantee absolute security; please use authorised channels and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.

7. Your requests and choices

Contact info@digitalcountry.in to ask about information you have shared, request a correction or deletion, withdraw permission for optional contact, or raise a privacy concern. Include enough detail to locate the relevant enquiry; we may need to verify your identity before sharing or changing personal records.

Your applicable legal rights remain available. A request concerning information held independently by an external service may also need to be made to that provider.

8. Younger programme applicants

If you are under 18 and interested in a learning programme, involve a parent or guardian before providing personal records or agreeing to a paid enrolment. Contact us first if you need help with the enquiry process.

9. Policy updates

This policy describes the website and enquiry process as currently configured. If the services, forms or processing practices change, this page should be updated with the revised details and date.
