Refund & Cancellation

A clear way to request cancellation and review any eligible refund for an agreed project or learning programme.

Last updated:

1. Read this with your agreement

Digital Country’s services are scoped for the individual engagement. Read this policy alongside the written proposal, statement of work or enrolment terms provided before payment. Those documents should specify the fees, milestones and any particular cancellation or refund terms.

This general policy does not create a blanket non-refundable fee or override rights available under applicable law. Consultations advertised as free do not require payment.

2. How to make a request

Email info@digitalcountry.in with your name, service or programme, payment date and invoice or payment reference if available. Explain whether you want to cancel the engagement, change its scope or raise an issue with the service. You can also contact our team on +91 9549495491 or WhatsApp to discuss the next step.

Please send the request as soon as possible so any further work or spending can be reviewed. Do not send card details, passwords or unnecessary identity documents.

3. Before work starts

We review whether work has started and whether any documented third-party costs have already been committed with your approval. Any eligible return of an advance is assessed against the written agreement and applicable law, and the calculation is communicated to you.

4. After work has started

A cancellation assessment considers the work actually delivered, agreed milestones, the unused part of an advance and documented external costs you approved. Any amount retained or refunded should be explained with a breakdown.

Completed work does not automatically remove your rights concerning deficient, misdescribed or undelivered services. A concern about the quality or delivery of agreed work should be raised with the team for an appropriate remedy under the agreement and applicable law.

5. If we cannot deliver the agreed work

If Digital Country cannot fulfil the agreed engagement, we will discuss a revised plan or an eligible refund for the unperformed work. Any additional remedy required by applicable law remains available. You are not required to accept a replacement service in place of a refund where the law gives you that choice.

6. Programmes and approved external costs

For courses and internships, confirm the batch or programme schedule, fees, cancellation terms and any transfer options in the enrolment communication before paying. Requests are reviewed against those disclosed terms and applicable law.

Advertising spend, domain registrations, hosting, licences and similar costs may be subject to a provider’s refund rules once committed. Only documented costs approved for your engagement should be considered, and provider rules do not remove Digital Country’s own legal obligations.

7. Refund confirmation and processing

When a refund is confirmed, we communicate the amount, payment route and expected processing time in writing. The original payment method is used where available, or another method agreed with you. Bank and payment-provider posting times can vary.

Contact us if a confirmed refund has not arrived within the communicated timeframe. This policy does not restrict your right to approach a competent consumer forum, court or other authority.
